When June Lake Brewing opened in the Village of June Lake in 2014, visitors and locals alike were excited to have a microbrewery to go along with the many outdoor adventures in the area. June Lake Brewing is the perfect place to relax after a long hike in the high Sierra, or after a chilly day on the slopes.
With this perfect blend of nature and beer, why not have a festival to celebrate both? June Lake Brewing teams up with the Little Looper nonprofit organization to bring this popular event back year after year. Autumn is an amazing colorful spectacle in the Eastern Sierra with warm days and cool evenings, perfect for sipping beer.
The event features a beer garden of course, live music, fabulous food vendors, booths from different local businesses, and activities for kids. There is even a stein holding competition. All this is done at Gull Lake Park which sits on the shore of Gull Lake and looks up to Carson Peak and surrounding mountains. All ages are welcome as this park also has two play equipment areas so youngsters can get out all that built up energy.
Breweries that frequent the beer garden are June Lake Brewing, Mammoth Brewing Company, Cismontane, Pizza Port, Four Sons, Great Basin, Brewers Cabinet, Green Flash, and Alpine Beer Company. Sample the many different styles of beer from different regions. If the beer garden isn’t for you, pints are sold individually as well.
This event is usually held on the early fall come sunshine, rain or snow. Event tickets and June Lake Accommodations normally sell out, so book well in advance. Feel free to call our office at 760-648-1919 for this year’s date and specific event information.
