  1. The Parker Lake Trail is a relatively easy, 4-mile trail. The trailhead sign is found on the north end of the June Lake Loop by Grant Lake. The path takes you to Parker Lake, a great spot to fish for trout.
  2. The reward for hiking the almost 5-mile Rainbow Falls via Devil’s Postpile Trail is the unbelievable views of Rainbow Falls. This is a bit of a more moderately challenging hike, but the effort is worth it.
  3. An easy option within the Inyo forest is the Gull Lake Loop. The 2-mile path can take less than an hour to complete. Work your way along the shoreline and marshland before looping back to the shoreline and passing through an aspen grove.
  4. If you’re looking for something a little more on the challenging side, try the 20 Lakes Basin loop. The 7.6-mile trail found off Tioga Pass offers unbeatable views of lakes in the Eastern Sierra.
