There are plenty of places to enjoy the unbelievable scenery. The June Lake Overlook offers exceptional views of June Lake with Carson Peak rising in the background. 

Your drive also takes you past several popular area lakes, including June Lake, Gull Lake, Silver Lake, and Grant Lake. These spots are great for enjoying a waterside picnic or renting a boat to spend time out on the water.

You can also stretch your legs on hiking trails. The Rush Creek Trail to Agnew Lake/Gem Lake is a 4.2-mile round-trip hike that takes you by Horsetail Falls. For a shorter option, check out the Parker Lake Trail or Fern Lake Trail.
