June Lake is perfect for every season. The small quiet community gives the real mountain experience. The town has a few restaurants, a fishing/ski store, a community park, marinas during the fishing season, art shops, a general store, and a brewery, all within walking distance to this property. 

If you are looking to visit the world-famous Yosemite National Park during summer, there is no need to sacrifice your comfort when this property is only 30 minutes away from the park entrance. You might find yourself struck by the beauty of the June Lake area, with many hidden lakes tucked away in the granite ridgelines only accessible by hiking well-maintained trails. 

The winter months in June Lake provide for a wonderful experience for the whole family. Snow sledding is just around the corner along with snowmobiles for rent on highway 395. If you are an avid snowboarder, skier, or just a beginner, you can be at the chairlift of family-friendly June Mountain in 5 minutes where KIDS SKI FREE. Mammoth Mountain is within a 15-mile drive from the property. Mammoth Mountain is a world-class ski resort with over 150 trails to choose from. With over 28 lifts and 300 days a year of sunshine, Mammoth Mountain is the place to ski in California. All are just a short drive from the house. 


There are a few steps to enter this home. Walk into the large entry area where you will find a laundry room and storage area to your right. There are three bedrooms and a full bathroom on this first level. Head upstairs to the sunny and bright living area and kitchen. The modern open floor plan is perfect for spending quality family time together. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. Off of the dining area is a deck with a propane barbeque. Continue down the hall from the kitchen and you will find a shared half bathroom and the master bedroom. The master suite has a king bed, a propane fireplace, and an extra nook with a futon bed. This is a great room for families with small children. The master bathroom has a shower and a separate tub along with his and her sinks. This house has everything your group or family will need.

The staff was friendly and responsive to our needs. The plumbing leak was dealt with quickly and professionally. During the booking and payment process, the staff provided invoices and payment details promptly for my reimbursement needs.
Property
I rented this property for 12 nights for five people, to conduct two weeks of fisheries field work. The house was roomy and comfortable. Although we were gone most of the day, the house had a great kitchen for the five of us to make coffee, breakfast and lunches before heading out to the field. The on-demand hot water heater allowed everyone to have a hot shower after work. The short walk to the JLB and town was great. We all agreed that we'd rent this house again next year.

We came in early from our travels to June Lake and asked for early checkin. They were super accommodating and the property was ready so they let us in. It was a nice unexpected accommodation after a long drive!
Property
The property was well kept, comfortable, and nicely decorated. It had killer internet! I had to work remotely in the morning everyday and the internet did not slow down a bit. The house had plenty of room for each guest to stretch out. For sure the nicest we have rented!
