Fun Activities

One of the reasons that June Lake is a popular destination for vacationers, is the unique position of our little vacation town to some very popular sites and activities. From June Lake, just to name a few, you can visit a ghost town, Yosemite, a bunch of hot springs a beautiful remote lake and a ridge named Rainbow.

Skiing

Skiing June Mountain has been a fun activity of people of southern California for many years. Historically, many believe that Clark Gable and other Hollywood actors came to June Lake when the only way up a historic portion of the snowy mountain was a rope tow. Today, June Mountain Ski Area continues to be a family friendly experience where everybody knows everyone, the lift tickets are cheep, lines are short, and the powder is deep.
